Gulf of Mexico

Anadarko operates the largest number of floating facilities in the deepwater Gulf of Mexico with additional exploration prospects, discoveries, large-scale developments and hub-and-spoke opportunities.

Anadarko Production in the Gulf

Anadarko is among the largest independent leaseholders and producers in the deepwater Gulf of Mexico, with expansive infrastructure that includes 10 operated deepwater facilities.

Lucius & Heidelberg

Anadarko’s newest spar facilities, Lucius and Heidelberg, began production in January 2015 and January 2016, respectively – both achieving first oil just three years after sanction. A testament to the company’s safety-first culture, crews working on the spars completed them without a LTI (lost-time incident).

Anadarko Operated Facilities:

  • Heidelberg (2016)

  • Lucius (2015)

  • Constitution (2006) – expanded to host Caesar/Tonga (2012)

  • Marco Polo (2005)

  • Gunnison (2004)

  • Nansen (2002)

  • Boomvang (2002)

  • Holstein (acquired in 2016)

  • Horn Mountatin (acquired in 2016)

  • Marlin (acquired in 2016)
